I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a fabulous time bringing in the New Year!

As you move into 2014 with all your hopes and dreams, remember to take time to reach out to others.  A kind word and a smile can make all the difference in a person’s life, so let 2014 be the year for sharing your happiness with someone less fortunate than yourself!

May this year bring you the best of everything you pray for, hope for, and wish for.  I hope that your light will shine in many ways, but most importantly in helping to make a difference in the lives of the people around you … not only your family members and friends!

If you can, share a moment of your time to pray for the sick and the downtrodden, feed the homeless, and clothe the naked.  Oh, what a difference you can make if you give a bit of your time.  We must open our hearts a little more, give our time a little more, and listen to the helpless a little more … we will be significantly rewarded and spiritually blessed!

This is the true meaning of GIVING and the real gift of CARING … THIS IS SPREADING THE LOVE!  We will be stronger and we will be better for all that we do … LEST WE FORGET that we too, at any time, can become the less fortunate!

In becoming my best self, it is my continued prayer that we all take time to reflect on the things that we are most thankful for and the things that make us who we are.

Essential to me and what I will build upon is —

  1. GOD first, always.
  2. Build a closer relationship with Him.
  3. Self-preservation and everything in moderation.
  4. Take a Spiritual Cleansing Bath to cleanse my soul and rid myself of negative influences.
  5. Family.  Because at the end of the day, that’s really all any of us have, and some of us don’t have that.  All the money in the world can’t replace the love of family.
  6. Friends.  Because they are always there in your corner … like family!
  7. Good Health.  Get up and MOVE!  MOTIVATE!  Take care of my body to the best of my ability … it’s the only one I have!
  8. Goals.  Set a new one or two, and work towards them.  Try to achieve the impossible.  I’ll strive to be bold, be daring, and I’ll push myself to work harder.
  9. Peace.  Find the quiet within and get more rest.  Remember your body is your temple, given to you by our LORD, so take care of it!  Release the stress, it’s not your friend.

I invite you to take this journey with me, for yourself.  Let’s do better together.

GOD BLESS you all!  My hope and prayers are with you ALWAYS!
